Return Policy

Toybox Return Policy

We want to make returning your Toybox as easy as possible! You can return your Toybox for a refund or an exchange within 6 months of the delivery date.

Printers with expired warranties are not eligible for returns or exchanges. If we don't hear back from you after providing troubleshooting tips, we’ll assume the issue is resolved. Keep in mind, the 6-month warranty will still expire on the same date, even if your initial inquiry was made while still covered under warranty! So be sure to complete your return before the warranty expires.

 

Exchanges

3D printers need regular care to work their best. You can find helpful resources in our FAQ for maintaining your Toybox. If you can’t fix an issue, contact us at support@toybox.com—we’re here to help!

Once our team confirms that the printer can not be repaired, we'll ask you to complete the Toybox Return Form. If you request an exchange without reaching out first, a team member may contact you for more details before approval.

After approval, you'll receive a prepaid shipping label to send back the defective unit. Once we receive it, your replacement unit will ship within 1-2 business days, and we'll email you the tracking number.

Refunds

We know things don’t always go as planned. If you’re thinking about a refund because of quality or troubleshooting issues, we suggest trying an exchange first before requesting a full refund.

To start a refund, please fill out our Toybox Return Form. Once approved, we’ll send you a prepaid shipping label to return the defective unit. Keep in mind that outbound shipping fees from your original order are non-refundable.

As soon as we receive your Toybox, we’ll email you within 1-2 business days to confirm that your refund has been processed. It may take up to 7 business days for the refund to show up in your account. If you don’t see it by then, we recommend reaching out to your bank.

You have 30 days from the delivery date to return Printer Food, print beds, Bolts, or subscriptions for a refund. If something’s wrong with the quality of these items, just let us know at support@toybox.com, and we’ll be happy to help!

If you're returning a replacement printer for a refund, contact support@toybox.com so we can process it manually.

 

Packaging

If you don’t have the original packaging, please use a box of similar size to ensure your Toybox is secure during shipping. Our boxes are 12”x12”x13”. Use bubble wrap or newspaper to prevent the extruder from sliding around.

 

Extended Warranty

Toybox offers extended warranties for all printers, which you can buy at checkout. Note that extended warranties don’t add extra time to the 6-month manufacturer’s warranty. For example, a one-year extended warranty starts when your order is delivered and ends a year later, not 1.5 years later.

Extended warranties cover exchanges, but refunds are only available within 6 months of delivery.

If you’d like to add an extended warranty after placing your order, contact us at support@toybox.com within 30 days to purchase one.

Gifts, Donations & Secondhand Printer Exchanges

 

If you received your Toybox as a gift, donation, or purchased it secondhand, you might still qualify for an exchange! We just need the original order information to verify that your printer is still under warranty. You can find the order number on a slip included with the printer's packaging. Without this information, we won't be able to process an exchange.
